Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) is pleased to announce the launch of MIT Sites, a new self-service website platform for MIT community members, powered by CampusPress, a WordPress hosting provider specializing in higher education sites.
This service features MIT-branded templates, created in partnership with the Institute Office of Communications, as well as a selection of popular WordPress themes and plugins, enabling MIT faculty, staff and students to create department, research, and personal websites. CampusPress provides MIT Sites users with 24/7 expert support and extensive documentation.

Drupal Cloud retirement and transition
With the launch of the MIT Sites service, IS&T's previous self-service website offering, Drupal Cloud, is being phased out.
Beginning today, no new Drupal Cloud sites will be created. Community members are invited to visit sites.mit.edu to create a new MIT website.
Existing Drupal Cloud sites will continue to function during this service transition, and MIT has contracted with CampusPress to provide support for migrating sites from Drupal Cloud into the new MIT Sites service. IS&T will be reaching out to Drupal Cloud site owners over the next few months with more information regarding the migration process.
